MOISSANITE
Moissanite, although relatively new, does resemble a diamond. Larger sizes usually have a yellow or green tint. It has a silicon carbide composition. Upon close examination, moissanite is usually identifiable. This is because silicon carbide, in the manufacturing process becomes doubly refractive.
